1949 Hubley Fire Chief Cycle & 1954 Yonezawa Police Cycle
Yonezawa, Tin Litho Police Cycle Early tin litho toy in outstanding near mint condition. Beautiful little "mustard" and green cycle with lots of detail. Driver is integrated as part of the cycle except for the tabbed arms. Not a friction or wind-up, but push style. The two training wheels are both tin/rubber rimmed for friction and speed. And it does work! Front wheel is solid black rubber. Rear wheel is tin and doesn't make ground contact. Handlebars are steel. Marked Yonezawa trademark and Japan on left rear fender. Stands up easily. Size: 3½". Hubley, Fire Chief Cycle Part of Hubley's 1949, No. 30 Fire Department Set. Cycle is red painted cast iron with solid black rubber tires. No markings except "Made In U.S.A." embossed on right side of the gas tank. Size: 3". Sold: Oct. 2013
